about me...

I've always been a painter but feel that I became an artist a few years ago when my life took a turn I didn’t expect. In that time of change, I turned to my painting and writing to help me move forward. While painting, I found a certain peace that had been missing in my life.  My paintings are an expression of my connection to others. The colors, words, and numbers are congruent to the emotions and energy that are present within.  The numbers and words are associated with someone or something that has impacted me in some way. The colors are the emotions attached to them. They are snapshots of my life captured on canvas.  I think the biggest compliment I receive is when someone sees my art and asks if I am a poet. What better a way speak without words, than to paint?
